Who we are

This website is run by Anchorlight Capital (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/441832/07, of 11 Harker Street, Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape, 6600 (“Anchorlight Capital”), a subsidiary of the Kotzé Group. Our Information Officer is Johan Ferreira, reachable at johan@anchorlightcapital.co.za.

What we collect

What you type into the contact form: your name, email address, what you’re reaching out as, your company name, sector and message.

Like any website, our hosting provider also processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver the site and protect it from spam and abuse. Sending an enquiry is voluntary. If you’d rather not use the form, you can email us directly.

Why

To read your enquiry and reply to you. We don’t add you to a mailing list, sell your details or share them for anyone else’s use. If your message includes information about other people or businesses, we treat it with the same care and confidentiality.

How it travels

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Form messages are delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, to our team’s business email inbox. These providers process information only on our behalf and under data processing agreements. Some of this processing happens outside South Africa, mainly in the United States. Both providers’ agreements include recognised international data-transfer safeguards. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep your information secure.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless we’re in an ongoing conversation with you or the law requires us to keep them longer.

Cookies

We don’t use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set a small security cookie that protects the site and contact form from spam and abuse. It isn’t used to track you.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@anchorlightcapital.co.za and we’ll respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa):
